These two plugin can be better alternative to Languagetools
If LanguageTool isn't meeting your satisfaction, it's better to try an alternative option for Obsidian grammar checker tool.

When I write, I always keep grammar software around me to keep checking my grammatical mistakes. I have used LanguageTool before, but it isn't what I'm looking for. It might be great sometimes, but half the time it can fail miserably, like Microsoft Word's grammar checker tool. I will give you a better choice of the two I'm going to recommend. (more of an honest review)
Harper
Harper is a grammar checker tool just like LanguageTool, but it's more offline to keep your privacy in your own hands. It does a good job at finding mistakes and update for the plugin can be pretty consistent which I like about it. Moreover, you can actually delay the checking process or make it instant as you write down words. But, keep in mind you have to keep your obsidian up to date, if you want to not cling onto problematic part of installation.
It does the job well, although with time when it will improve more. It might be a better grammar checker for Obsidian.
Use of AI
Sometimes, Obsidian can't have good options for grammar checker tools, which I don't blame. Creating a good plugin requires a tremendous amount of effort, and fixing the bugs every day drains a dev. That's why sometimes we have to take a different approach; there is a Copilot plugin for Obsidian where, using an AI API, you can use AI to do your grammar checking. There are many options both offline and online.
Using AI as your grammar checker can make your work easy, but remember it's not perfect; that's why sometimes you have to do some tweaks over time. But surely, it will do its job fine.
Conclusion
I would say it's better you go with the AI Plugin and you should try to find an offline model. (there are a lot of videos on YouTube how to get local AI for Obsidian)

Don't overthink too much about grammatical mistakes, they happen, and trying to find a perfect tool to help you isn't free. Even the paid ones can make mistakes, however, people don't care much about minor mistakes, they care about the content you're providing. (unless your a student)
